Back to making wine at Ramat RAZI’EL
After more than 20 years in Ramat Raziel, Domaine du Castel moved to its new home in Yad Hashmona, in 2015.
Now we have the opportunity to return to our roots and create something new.
For this purpose, we created a new winery – RAZI’EL.
At RAZI’EL we can experiment with new varieties and different techniques and continue our search for harmony, quality and the unique scent of our terroir.

RAZI’EL
Razi’el is a blend of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Carignan. The grapes were hand-picked. The wine was aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. It is full bodied, has a deep purple color, elegant flavors, and aromas of fresh red fruit and herbs. The wine shows refined tannins and a harmonious balance. It is at its peak 8 years after harvest.
Rosé Razi’el
Rosé Razi’el is a blend of handpicked Mourvèdre, Grenache and Syrah.
The must is fermented and aged for six months in new French oak Demi-muids (600l). This is a gastronomical rosé. The palate is round and complex, with fruity and refreshing notes. It is very well balanced and mouth filling.
RAZI'EL NON VINTAGE
Razi’el Non-Vintage is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir of different vintages. The wine was fermented in 600 litres French oak barrels and aged sur lies for six months. This sparkling wine was produced in the “Traditional Méthod” of Champagne. It is a dry wine, Brut Nature – Zéro Dosage, medium bodied, with aromas of citrus fruits and a hint of brioche, high and refreshing acidity, with fine bubbles and a long finish.
RAZI'EL ROSÉ NON VINTAGE
Razi’el Non-Vintage is a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay of different vintages. The wine was fermented in 600 litres French oak barrels and aged sur lies for six months. This sparkling wine was produced in the “Traditional Méthod” of Champagne. It is a dry wine, Brut Nature – Zéro Dosage, medium bodied, with aromas of red fruits, high and refreshing acidity, with fine bubbles and a long finish.
